Garuda Starts Daily Flights between Bali and Timor Leste
Garuda Indonesia has formally commenced daily flights between Denpasar (Bali) and Dili (Timor Leste), effective Friday, October 24, 2014. The communication director of Garuda Indonesia, Pujobroto, told an audience in Jakarta that the flight service is the realization of the Airline’s commitment to create a flight network between Bali and East Timor.
Garuda flight GA 7300 will leave daily from Bali at 7:30 a.m. and land in East Timor at 10:20 a.m. The return flight via GA 7310 departs Dili at 11:25 a.m. landing in Bali at 12:15 a.m. The new flight service will be flown with a Boeing 737-500 aircraft with 96 passenger seat configuration, 12 of which are in Business Class.
Quoted by the State News Agency Antara, Garuda’s CEO Emirsyah Satar said the opening of the Denpasar-Timor Leste route will increase cooperation between the two countries in economic, tourism and other sectors.
